All over the world, mobile IT equipment such as tablets and laptops are supplied with commercially available desktop power supplies that withstand much worse environmental characteristics than the central IT equipment. With the AC adapter models ACS90 and ACS150, roda is opening a door to a new dimension in the rugged world. Water- and sand-protected, shockproof, drop- and EMC-protected, the AC adapter can also be used at the temperatures designated for IT equipment.
Despite its aluminium housing, EMC filter boards and reinforced cable sheath, the full-rugged ACS90 weighs 1.5 kg with compact dimensions of 204 x 49 x 90 mm.
